VFX Breakdown

Composited in Nuke.

Inspired by dance videos with foggy foregrounds and a spotlight I decided to create a shot where the dancer emits the smoke.

Abstract Passenger

Animated in Maya.

Lit and rendered in Maya Arnold. Composited in Nuke.

The idea was to create a moving abstract piece in an everyday environment and i found the MRT to be the best place for it.

An experiment on fracturing. I wanted to control fractures with an animated object while creating a shot.

An experiment on VEX and noise. I initially wanted to create a sandman but the play was to play with VEX so i created a cloud giant instead.

My attempt at creating a ship landing shot. Working on this was fun especially animating the ship.

Wanted to stick this to alive plate but could not get the tracking to work with the models so I made it a still shot. An attempt to create a strange shot while playing with fluid simulations.

A test for my animation skills. The file was eventually lost but it was very accomplishing to see the end product of animation, shader and lighting.
